An
important question people ask is, "How much does a
Haiku House cost?" A Haiku House usually costs about
the same as any good quality, high-end home in the same area. The
kinds of details and finishes you put in your Haiku House are
perhaps the single greatest factor in determining the final cost
of your home. Such choices of finish will indeed affect the cost
of your Haiku House significantly.
We will help you
design a home that not only meets your requirements for space for
you and your family, is beautiful for your site, and shows your
surroundings to their best advantage, but is also the most
economical approach for your wishes, specific budget, and
circumstances.
To build a Haiku House is a decision
that affects the quality of your entire life. We will do
everything possible to help you have a Haiku House that is
peaceful to live in, a refuge from the busyness of the world, and
at the same time a creative statement of your own personal
aesthetic.
We also design additions to existing
structures and hybrid structures--part timber frame and part
conventional framing. Maybe you want a Haiku House Great Room
with conventional framing for the remainder of your new home. We
will be happy to work with you on a mixture of what you need.
A handy rule of thumb is that a Haiku House rough estimate, between
about $250 - $300 and may go up to $375 - $475 or more per square foot (not including land) depending on how
you finish it out and depending on the construction costs in your
area. During the A&E the final cost will be narrowed down. per square foot of interior space for the completed
